Officer Birkholz's family sent WLECHA a thank you for our support at his memorial service. Here is the note and card.

On Saturday March 26th, 2011, Officer Craig Birkholz was laid to rest. 30 canine teams from all over Wisconsin and one from Illinois paid their respects to Craig and his family.  

 

Fond du Lac Police Officer Ryan Williams was discharged from the hospital the day before and was able to attend the memorial as well. Stay strong Ryan and rest well. Ryan's partner Grendel is still recovering from his injuries.
