The Wisconsin Law Enforcement Canine Handler Association is dedicated to promoting the use of trained canines in law enforcement, corrections, and search and rescue operations.  Members are current or retired law enforcement officers. 

We hope you will find this site informative and educational. It is our attempt to provide our membership and the public with current information on training, events, and news of interest to law enforcement canine handlers.


Just as Police K-9 Units throughout Wisconsin enjoy the support of citizens and businesses in their communities, W.L.E.C.H.A., too, needs financial assistance to meet it goal of supporting the Police K-9 profession.

Member dues cover much of our costs but we are always glad for any additional support we receive from our members and friends in the "larger" community of the public we serve.
